QED was launched in January 1998, Directors, Richard & Pat Marek who have been in the recruitment business for over 20 years approached the Alexander Mann Group for financial backing. AMG were able to offer a full back office support which allowed QED to be set up very quickly and establish itself as a primary supplier of HGV Drivers and Warehouse staff. Now in its 4th year QED has a turnover in excess of £2.5 million. QED has placed over 400 people in permanent jobs and has on average 150 staff working on contracts daily.

QED has all the benefits of being a major company but still maintains the ability to offer a unique personal service to its clients and its staff. We offer a fully comprehensive Temporary and Permanent service catering for Drivers, Warehouse, Production, Commercial & Technical including Engineering and I.T.

Whilst this is a very broad service we have a specialist consultant for each discipline so when you come to QED whether as a client or prospective candidate you can be assured you will receive the undivided attention of a consultant who is in tune with your requirements.

QED operates with a twenty mile radius of Stevenage serving up to 60 clients a day from a client base of over 100 clients. QED is able to offer work to a very broad spectrum of applicants for both long and short-term contracts, whether it's for a month or a year we will have work to suit.

QED offers a unique twenty-four hour service seven days a week, 52 weeks of the year. Many Agencies operate a night control centre where the staff are not familiar with the day to day running of the branch. QED employs a full time Night Controller who is familiar with all the contracts and is able to sort problems out before they get serious. Just one telephone number will put you in touch with a consultant who will be able to help 24 hours a day.

QED prides itself on the relationship it has with its clients and ensures that both parties, the client and the temp are satisfied with the conditions and that both parties understand the contractual obligations. QED's Management visit all clients' sites on a regular basis to ensure that working conditions are maintained in line with Health and Safety regulations.
